Once in awhile Hai and I get feedback from our readers that makes Eating Saigon! all worthwhile.

In this case, Paul, Yuki, and Liam shared their thoughts about their home-cooked Saigon dinner with Khanh and Hoa, another wonderful Eat With a Local Saigon Family experience. We thought you might enjoy reading their review here – we certainly loved it!

Hello Joe & Hai,

Yuki, Liam and I loved our dinner with Khanh and Hoa … we arrived strangers and left like old friends!

We highly recommend a dinner with these two ladies.  They heard we had a little boy and went out of their way to prepare special dishes just for him.

Our night with Khanh and Hoa was fantastic. They were more than willing to answer all of our questions about life in Vietnam and made us feel extra welcome in their home. It really was nice to eat with a local Saigon family and experience everyday life in Vietnam. Our interpreter, Duc, was especially helpful and went out of his way to ensure we all had a great time.

For other guests, Khanh and Hoa’s house is not far from central Ho Chi Minh, but if you are going by taxi on a busy night you might allow a little extra time.

When you go please give the ladies a special cuddle from us. ?
