TET VIETNAM

Essential fruit and flowers for the Tet holiday

It’s Tết in Vietnam!

And it’s the most fun time of the year to be here in Vietnam!

There are Tết traditions-a-plenty, including specialty foods, cleaning frenzies, and wonderful family gatherings.

Hai and I wish everyone:

Read more here about all the Tết traditions in Vietnam.

And re-visit the fun time that Hai and I had during our very special Tết holiday last year.

This year, for the first time ever, Hai will not be in Vietnam during Tết (a special trip traveling through Italy called out to us this year.)

However, we took it upon ourselves to re-schedule Tết this year … kind of! 🙂

Before departing for Italy, we had an early Tết to celebrate together with Hai’s family (all 11 siblings) and with some special friends.

There was perhaps the most amazing collection of Vietnamese food EVER,  lots of good fun together, and even some red envelopes (bao lì xì) exchanges!
