My Christmas Wish
This holiday, my wish is that everyone will do what they can to help reduce the culture of violence in our society.
Pray if you believe that will help.- Talk to your children and work hard to diminish bullying in schools and to understand the harm that is done to children by extreme violence in video games and other media.
- Reach out to help your emotionally troubled friends, neighbors and family members.
- Work to end gun violence, by:
- Banning all assault weapons and high-capacity magazines for everyone except the military.
- Requiring instant background checks on all gun purchases, including those at gun shows and online.
- Providing law enforcement full access to all state and local databases on felons and the mentally ill.
- Making illegal gun trafficking a felony.
And remember, these people matter …

It’s a shame when the youngs and innocents have to suffer what we adult can’t seem to get a handle on. Everytime a violence of this nature occurred, we tend to rise up in a heated debate regarding the item that did the violent, but we never actually resolved the problem. Hence, our youngs and innoncents continue to suffer for our inadequate actions. we are their friends, guardians, and mentors and they are looking up at us for a resolution. We failed miserably at that!
