“I’ve lived in Saigon, Vietnam my whole life. My grandmother started a neighborhood restaurant there 60 years ago. She left the restaurant to my father, and he left it to me. Since then, cooking has become my life … and I love it! My restaurant in Saigon, Dong Hoa Xuan, has become quite popular in recent years.
“Eleven years ago, I met my partner, Joe, in Saigon. We both LOVE Vietnamese food and we started our blog EatingSaigon.com. We rode the streets of Saigon on our motorbike enjoying and writing about amazing Saigon street food and small neighborhood restaurants. Now, Joe and I have relocated to Emeryville. I love California, but I miss cooking authentic Vietnamese dishes. I can’t afford to open a restaurant here, but I can enjoy creating and privately sharing my favorite Vietnamese meals with our new neighbors. You can try my dishes here.”

- Choose & order your meal (click below)
- I’ll invite you to pick up your meal at our Emeryville home about one block east of San Pablo Ave, usually between 4:00 – 7:00 pm on serving days.
- When you arrive, call/message us at 510-501-7982 from your car.
- We’ll quickly assemble your dinner and bring it down to you in your car or at our front gate.
- Our exact home address provided when you place your order.
