Once in a while, Hai and I decide to leave Saigon’s streets and enjoy dinner inside a “fully-enclosed” eatery. And we recently decided to do it in real style!
Not only had we convinced ourselves that we deserved an “upscale” dinner treat (rationale weak, at best), but we were hosting two of our very best friends in Saigon – Trinh and Yen – who clearly deserve a classy dinner.

Now, normally pizza wouldn’t necessarily fall into the “classy dinner” category, but at 4 P’s Pizza that is, in fact, the case. Particularly at their newest Bến Thành Market location.

Very cool pizza brick oven domes
A magnificent building renovation achievement designed by acclaimed Japanese architect, Shunri Nishizawa. Two floors of stunning brickwork, sophisticated decor and design work from top to bottom, a dramatic stairwell, very cool floor stone work, and all topped-off with two dramatic brick oven domes.
Add a well-trained and knowledgeable staff, great salads and desserts, and, well … Hai, Trinh, Yen and I were all very happy sharing our evening together at 4-P’s.

4 P’s Burrata with Organic Rocket & Tomato Salad
The Burrata with Organic Rocket & Tomato Salad was excellent with some of the best ever burrata cheese. The pizza choices were unique, extensive, and downright scrumptious. We opted for two 50%-50% pies … that gave us the opportunity to try four of their yummy options. My favorite was the Parma Ham Margherita half on one of our pies. But, really, I’m still not certain … there was that “classic” Margherita Pizza with lots of basil !!! Though Hai and I are not really beer drinkers, the beer also was really a treat.
And the desserts – Affogato Pizza (Vanilla Ice-cream with Espresso coffee) – OMG … an absolute MUST!

So forgive us for having strayed from Saigon’s amazing street food scene (we’ve forgiven ourselves, by the way), but if you feel like doing so yourself, 4 P’s Pizza is one of the best places to do it in Saigon!
FEBRUARY 2023 UPDATE: Enjoyed lunches here with our friends Tan and Tung several times. As good as any pizza in Napoli, Italy!
