Hai - Ghirardelli

A yummy gift from Eating Saigon! readers

First, thank you, thank you Linh and Noel.  The Ghirardelli chocolates are wonderful!  In fact, I’m savoring one now as I think about the fun lunch we shared together today at Hai’s Dong Hoa Xuan restaurant.

Getting to meet and enjoy time together with readers like you (and, of course, the chocolates themselves 🙂 ) make writing Eating Saigon! all worthwhile.

Bao Tu - Hai

Hai’s special Bao Tử (pork stomach)

AND, I’m so glad that you loved Hai’s Cá Kho Tộ (spicy caramelized fish steak) and Bao Tử (pork stomach) dishes – two of my favorites as well.

I hope the rest of your month-long stay in Saigon continues to be an exciting and delicious adventure.  And, I hope Eating Saigon! can lead you to a few more excellent Saigon street food experiences.

Thank you Linh and Noel

Now, for the rest of our readers:

I’m certainly not suggesting that all Eating Saigon! readers should shower us with high-quality chocolates (or the like) if they enjoy reading our blog or discovering the hidden Saigon eateries that Hai and I reveal each week.  That’s clearly up to them.  I’m simply expressing my appreciation to two loyal and wonderful readers who enjoy great Saigon street food as much as we do.  And letting thousands of people across the globe know what wonderful, thoughtful people they are by posting their photo here. 🙂
